Retail Store Sales associate is responsible for maintaining an efficient retail store that is inviting for customers. Provides customers with detailing product recommendations and a willingness to share technical knowledge. As an organization; we take pride in being a hands-on, knowledgeable resource for our customers across multiple brands and scenarios.
The position is base salary + commission based. Employees are eligible for product discounts. The position is part time, approximately 16-20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available with notice.

Essential Functions

Process customer sales, returns, exchanges.

Engaging and assisting customers with problems or concerns, makes product recommendations.

Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues that could impact productivity.

Performs general cleaning duties in the storefront area, and stocks shelves and displays neatly to maximize visibility and sales.

Provides product demonstrations as needed to customers.

Works with route sale staff and warehouse staff to ensure coordination of supplies and deliveries.

Performs month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories reconcile with books; Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for warehouse and store location.

Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to manager.

Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.

Open and close store, manage register and cash transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred:

Related industry experience in automotive detailing or bodyshops.

Previous sales or customer service experience

Physical Demands
